Meet the Doctor

Dr. Duarte wanted to be a dentist since he was in Grade School. He was influenced by family members who are also dentists. Dr.Duarte received his dental degree from the University of Florida.

He practiced general dentistry for 2.5 years. During this time, he took various continuing education courses in orthodontics and loved it so much that he decided to specialize in orthodontics.

He received his certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He was the only one in his class to also receive a Master's of Science in Dentistry.

Before starting his own practice, he worked in Orlando, Florida with Dr. John Smith, who lectures to orthodontists around the world. Dr. Duarte wanted to come back to his hometown in Miami where he has been living since 1981.

In his spare time, Dr. Duarte likes to enjoy the beach, read, watch movies, and spend time with family and friends.
